my surgery date is July 20th, but to me it still feels so far away.. i think its this liquid diet. i wi**** was tomorrow

that is Wednesday, yikes.  You can find lots to do before then that you don't particularly want to do after surgery.  Change the sheets, catch up on the laundry, clean whatever.  Cook and freeze stuff for the family.  Spend time here reading and learning. 

Do you have to do clear liquids the day before?  Not everyone does but we did and it was the pits.  I thought I was going to die I was so hungry, even after 4 weeks of liquid diet.  Hang tough if you do.  Jello, broth, popcycles have everything on the list available and just keep inputing liquid. 

Wednesday will be here so soon.  And you will be on your way to a new life.

I do know how you feel.  My surgery was last Wednesday and it seemed the closer it got the slower the time passed.  Then Wednesday morning was here! Three more days and you will begin the journey to a new YOU!
